description Feeds, like almost all sea urchins, of algae, but also eats calcareous algae.
He also probably eats carrion.
Accepts most of the substitute fodder and seems to be persistent.

We are not aware of any overlaps, but you should be careful.
In the Caribbean there is a similar looking sea urchin, which is called A. magnifica.
