Colonial Ascidia of color varying from pink to orange, characterized by a tapered lobular structure that branches up from a common base. Maximum colony size around 10 cm. Coastal species, observed up to about 40 m deep. He lives in rocky environments and among Posidonia rhizomes. Zooids mature in May. The larvae are formed in numbers from 1 to 3 for each atrial chamber.
Species of a recent description whose distribution area is almost unknown. The first finds were on the island of Nueva Tabarca (Alicante) and the Balearic Islands. It was subsequently reported along the Ionian Puglia coasts and in the northern Adriatic, including the Croatian side.
