Eubranchus virginalis has the inflated, thick Cerata typical for the family of the Eubranchidae, which can be provided both smoothly and with pointed papillae. The whole body is covered with black larger dots, partially framed by a white ring. The snail is very small, lives mostly in shallow water and is often found on Sargassum kelp.
